We’re always looking for volunteers.

We have two types of volunteers:

Leadership + Team Leads

Volunteers who serve in leadership roles either on our board or leading one of our teams.

Committees Members

Volunteers who help with specifics projects and programs.

How do we utilize volunteers?

Our volunteers help in a number of ways.  Board members hold leadership roles and participate on one of our Teams. Teams are led by a volunteer who participates on our board.  Team Members enjoy working on annual projects (like Winter Clubs and community events) and ongoing initiatives (like innovative grants, classroom grants, Box Tops, and Hannaford Cards).

I want to get involved but I don't know if I'll have the time.

We understand.  Volunteering are a Bobcat Booster is easier than you think.  Volunteer opportunities now include information to help your decide.  Complete our Volunteer Registration form to learn more.

What kind of skills do I need to volunteer?

It varies.  Most of the time we are simply looking for folks who care about BHCS and a willingness to give their time.  Some tasks require administrative skills (we use Goggle Docs and Sheets), social media savvy (find us on Facebook), or basic planning and organization.

I don't have a student at BHCS, may I still volunteer?

Probably.  Complete our Volunteer Registration form so that we can learn more about you.
